A tintype found in the John Henning Bible girlscouts.jpg (43544 bytes) lightcu.jpg (99729 bytes)
A tintype photograph that was found in the John Henning bible. Could this be Mary Ullery, first wife of James Finfrock? Girl Scouts  My mother, Helen Marguerite Jefferis Folkerth is fourth from the right in the back row. Others are unknown. ca. 1922 Light Clan Reunion This pix is of the Light and I think maybe the Peters clan. My mother used to talk about their reunions although we never attended one. I would guess this is an early '40's or late '30's photo. The Lights settled around what is now Lightsville. They originally came from Clermont co Ohio and before that, like most folks moving west, floated down the Ohio from PA. I hope someone may know some of these folks that I can mark them.

Gym Class ~ 1904 ~ Greenville, Ohio
Entire Photograph - very large
Left half of photograph Right half of photograph
I purchased this photograph on eBay. It was originally purchased from an estate sale in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. "Gym Class - 1904 - Greenville, Ohio" is written on the back. They appear to be holding something called Indian clubs which were used as a form of exercising for a brief time in the late 1800s & very early 1900s. If you can identify any of the young ladies in the picture, please contact Jane Barr Torres
