This cemetery is located off of U. S. 127 about 1.5 miles south of Castine on the East side of the road approximately 200 yards off the road. The cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence. Railroad Cemetery is no longer active and contains one single stone. The stone is that of Farnsworth Kirby.

Inscription reading "Farnsworth Kirby"
Died Jan. 24th, 1833 ( or 1853 )
Aged 72 Y. 9 M. & 19 D.
A Revolutionary marker was present.
The headstone had been broken in two pieces and repaired.
