He was married to Nellie Swisher Boyd (daughter of Jacob Washington Boyd and Margaret Elizabeth Shaffer) on July 3, 1898 in , Darke Co., OH.  Nellie Swisher Boyd  was born on November 4, 1880 in Pikeville, Darke Co., OH.  She died on July 28, 1944 in Schneider, Lake Co., IN.  She was buried in Lowell Cem, Lake Co., IN.  James Edward Pearson and Nellie Swisher Boyd had the following children:

He was married to Nora Ella Gavit in 1919.  Nora Ella Gavit was born on February 15, 1898 in North Star, Darke Co., OH.  She died on August 14, 1958 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.  She was buried in Yorkshire Cem, Darke Co., OH.  Asa William Pearson and Nora Ella Gavit had the following children:

She was married to Howard Doty in Hammond, Lake Co., IN.  Howard Doty was buried near Lowell, IN.  Gladys Joy Pearson and Howard Doty had the following children:

She was married to Doyle Marion "Jack" Reck (son of Orell Curtis Reck and Bonnie Belle Miller) on February 15, 1930 in Hammond, Lake Co., IN.  Doyle Marion "Jack" Reck was born on May 5, 1907 in Union City, Darke Co., OH.  He died on February 7, 1984 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.  He was buried in Yorkshire Cem, Darke Co., OH.  Margaret Elizabeth Jane Pearson and Doyle Marion "Jack" Reck had the following children:

He was married to Hilda Catherine Kleimeier on August 7, 1937 in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN.  Hilda Catherine Kleimeier was born on December 22, 1910 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.  She died on November 28, 1983 in Indianapolis, IN.  She was buried in Calvary Cem, Montgomery Co., OH.  Wilbur Lee Pearson and Hilda Catherine Kleimeier had the following children:
