For and in consideration of Fifteen Dollars, to me in hand Paid, 
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, J. A. Hamilton, 
hereby assigns and sell unto Wesley Millett, the right to manufacture 
and retail Hamilton's Lifting Jack, for 17 years from date of 
patents, (Patents dated Mar. 19 1872 & Nov. 25 1873), at his own 
shop in Darke Co. and no other place or places.
