| My brother-in-law Gerald Shultz and I went
to the Ansonia Schools and compared the Jr./Sr. Class picture with the
Senior Class Picture of 1910 on the wall. To the very best of our
knowledge we have made the following identifications: Back Row: 3rd from
Left is Earl Shultz 2nd from Right is Lowell Lephart Far Right is O. J.
Fisher, Principal
Second or Middle Row: Far Left is Lester J.
DeFord, 2nd from Left is John Hoschouer, 4th from Left is Hazel McLain,
Far Right is Ms Harmeyer, Asst. Principal
1st or Front Row: 3rd from Left is Cora Poling,
4th from Left is Ethel Brandon, 5th from Left is Helen Rehmert, Far
Right is Mr. Garrison, Supt. of Schools
These identities are visual and could have been more
positive if their hair lines were visible. They were all wearing their
graduation hats which eliminated hair as an identifying factor.
Cora Poling has a brother in the Graduation picture
and you can see that he has blonde hair. It could be the young man
standing right behind her... we couldn't make a determination.
